What is an E-bike?
The E-bikes, or better electric pedal assisted bicycles are a new category of vehicles that offer most of the advantages of ordinary bikes, but operate as small motorcycles. The electric pedal assisted bikes satisfy the needs of people that take care of pollution and are becoming very popular in big cities.

What kind of E-bike is road legal in EU?
The law regards electric pedal assisted bikes as standard bicycles, therefore, no need license, registration, or insurance. You can ride electric bikes anywhere; street, bike path, trail. In all European countries to be street legal, electric bikes must be powered by a pedal assisted system and meet following specifications:

  • motor power 250 watt
  • Throttle is forbidden
  • motor must be activated only with pedaling (PAS)
  • motor stops working at 25km/h
  • max weight 40kg including batteries (60Kg for trikes)

Climbing capacity mostly depends on weight of rider, anyway all our E-bikes have a strong motor that allow to go easily up the hill.

What is the loading capacity?

What is the range for a single charge?
80 – 100 Km on flat roads

How to know the battery power?
The battery power depends on the quantity of electricity stored inside. It is given by Wh (Watt per hour)
The battery power is usually from 400 Wh to 1000 Wh

When have I to charge the battery?
It is better to charge the battery every timne you use the e-bike.
Is is dangerous to keep the battery empty.

What is the maintenance of an e-bike?
The electric bicycles don’t need any special maintenance service.

Is it possible to ride an e-bike when raining?
Yes, you can ride the e-bike when raining.

Is it mandatory to wear an helmet?
Wearing a bike helmet is mandatory only for kids 14 year old.
